Risk and Compliance opportunity (Financial Planning/Wealth Management)

Do you have solid knowledge of FCA regulations?

Our client, a successful financial planning practice is seeking an experienced and proactive Risk and Compliance specialist to join the team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape the compliance culture and support the business in managing regulatory, operational, and strategic risks.

Reporting to the director, you will be managing the operational needs of this busy practice which supports 1 Partner and 4 Advisers. This role demands an inspirational individual to implement and drive strategies to evolve and develop an established, expanding business, through strategic and operational leadership. You will oversee all business functions including advisory, marketing, business development, paraplanning and administration ensuring they are aligned to practice.

Providing outstanding client service will be of upmost importance to you and, as this is a lead role in the practice, you will inspire and influence others to do the same.

You will require exceptional communication skills and will be highly organised with an excellent eye for detail. You will have strong written and problem-solving skills. You are a self-starter and able to work with little or no supervision. You will have broad experience of Microsoft Office, working at an intermediate level.
