About the Role:

This position focuses on delivering strategic business development (BD) support to the Litigation practice group, the largest in the firm's London office, engaging and inclusive partners. The role reports to the Head of Business Development and involves leading a team that includes a BD Manager and a Senior Executive. The primary aim is to drive revenue growth and elevate the group's market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement client relationship plans, acting as the account manager for key clients, and gathering feedback to enhance service delivery.
  • Take ownership of understanding various practice group offerings and explore cross-selling opportunities between different areas.
  • Provide business development mentoring to participants in the 'High Potential' Senior Associate Programme by reviewing and guiding their personal BD plans.
  • Oversee and improve submissions for Legal 500 and Chambers rankings for agreed practice areas in London, ensuring consistent, high-quality messaging.
  • Work with the events team and BD executive to deliver exceptional client events, considering opportunities to co-host with industry stakeholders, and ensure a solid return on investment.

Key Attributes Required:

  • Experience as a BD Manager within the legal or professional services sector.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and provide strategic business development advice.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with a track record of adding value to business development activities.
