About the Role:

Global bank in London, is hiring for a SMCR Governance Manager to cover a 14-month maternity leave. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with SMCR experience who excels in organisation and managing governance frameworks. The primary focus will be on coordinating the annual Fit and Proper reviews for senior managers, maintaining SMCR governance processes, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

SMCR Governance and Compliance: Oversee annual Fit and Proper reviews, ensuring all documentation and certifications meet regulatory requirements.

Framework and Documentation: Maintain SMCR frameworks, ensure up-to-date records and reporting of SMCR activities, support SMCR training, and ensure senior managers are aligned with conduct standards.

Governance for Outsourced Activities: Oversee governance for inter-branch Statements of Work (SOW) operations with global teams, coordinating quarterly meetings for internal SOWs, tracking metrics, and managing meeting documentation.
