Fantastic opportunity to work for a privately owned FM Service Provider situated in North West London. CBW are currently recruiting for a Technical Services Manager to be based on an Iconic & Landmark building in North West London. The successful candidate will be mechanically qualified and will be required to maintenance and remedial works are planned and executed in accordance with contract requirements across Mechanical Services, HVAC Services and associated systems at this prestigious site
Key duties & Responsibilities
- Control of all mechanical services, together with management of all associated engineering contracts.
- Manage all statutory compliance.
- Control of all building services, infrastructure, maintenance and repairs.
- Assist with project management of any building refurbishment projects.
- Ensure that all plant, back up and monitoring systems are maintained in good functioning order at all times, including the testing of all essential systems on a regular basis and in accordance with any relevant legislation.
- Control of trouble-shooting engineering support.
- Day to day support and adjustment of infrastructure as required, including liaison with user groups, preparation of documentation for changes, approved appointment of contractors and site supervision.
- Control of all relevant outsourced contracts.
- Ensure all procedures are adhered to by all relevant contractors and in accordance with current legislation.
- Ensure frequent checks are carried out to ensure cost effectiveness against market trends and that value for money is realised for all services.
- Chair regular update meetings with all contract managers relevant to services provided.
- Management of Mechanical related incidents/outages
- Implement plans and actions through your leadership skill to identify and deliver additional work opportunities and technical solutions
- Provide technical guidance and support as required to ensure Mechanical and Electrical systems are maintained to a high standard and defects are swiftly identified and rectified.
- Effective co-ordination of available resources to achieve technical and innovative solutions.
- Lead the team to achieve sustainability objectives to improve energy consumption through operational enhancement, whilst seeking out efficient technologies and scoping proposals for consideration
Hours of work
Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm
Flexible approach to working hours based on the needs of the contract (i.e. Evenings or weekends)

Requirements
- NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 - Plumbing, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning 6187 or similar
- City & Guilds 2079 F Gas Regulations (Desirable)
- Experienced in the electrical and mechanical aspects of general building service, repair and installation
- Exceptional knowledge and experience working with and repairing Mechanical Systems and Heating and Ventilation Systems
- Knowledge of electrical principles including safe isolation, controls and basic fault finding
- Use of Trend BMS
- Authorised Person Mechanical (Desirable)
- This role will require someone who is analytical and able to problem solve
- A proven track record of supporting major contracts or providing technical support
- The client is happy to look at someone from a production or manufacturing background (Mechanical)
