We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Environment and Sustainability Advisor to join our client's established team. The role is joining a leading specialist subcontractor with a turnover of circa 300 million.
Responsibilities for the Environment and Sustainability Advisor:
- Carrying out site inspections and audits, undertaking preliminary environmental assessments and collecting data to assess environmental and sustainability performance.
- Conducting regular site visits to ensure the delivery of environmental policy and compliance with legislation and regulations, across a range of projects.
- Collaborating and advising project managers at each stage of the construction process, to ensure that sustainability initiatives are met.
- Liaising with regulatory bodies such as the environment agency.
A Successful Environment and Sustainability Advisor will have:
- Proven experience in the environment and sustainability space within the construction industry or a related sector
- A degree in a related environment or sustainability field and ideally holding a professional membership with a recognised environmental body (IEMA, CIEEM, CIWEM)
- A strong ability to build relationships with external stakeholders to help meet strategic objectives.
- An ambition to grow and develop your career within the environment space.
