Job Advert: Legal Products Specialist

My client is seeking a Legal Products Specialist to join their innovative legal technology team. Reporting to the Senior Legal Products Manager, this role will focus on managing and implementing both internally developed and third-party legal technology solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with analysts, engineers, legal teams, and external vendors to enhance operational efficiency and deliver top-tier legal tech services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with legal operations, practice groups, and other stakeholders to gather insights and guide technology decisions.
  • Support the implementation and adoption of emerging tech solutions, including AI and document automation.
  • Take ownership of project management, ensuring clear communication and delivery of legal tech solutions.
  • Manage product requirements throughout their lifecycle and resolve product-related issues.
  • Work closely with legal teams to understand their technical needs and match them with the appropriate legal technologies.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors to troubleshoot issues and build strong relationships.
  • Conduct trials and testing for both off-the-shelf and in-house developed products.
  • Continuously research legal tech trends and contribute to strategic market analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree in Law, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong understanding of legal processes and their technological requirements.
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience within the legal industry.
  • Knowledge of legal technology trends, AI, and document management systems (e.g., iManage, NetDocuments).
  • Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
  • Strong organisational and presentation skills.
