Quality Assurance Technician II

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician II, the candidate will be dynamic and organised, and will join as a Private Brands Food Quality Manager. The role will focus on all quality aspects from manufacturing to distribution of existing and new brands, ensuring they meet and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and improving the company food and drinks products across Europe.

• Management of the product quality testing programme for new and existing food products.

• Trend analysis and reporting, using and developing systems for managing compliance processes.

• Globally collaborating with quality and food safety teams, and internal and external stakeholders, to respond to issues and promote quality improvement projects.

• Potential travel to company sites across the UK and EU as part of investigations and to deliver the quality programme.

Requirements:

• 5 or more years of experience in quality management in the food industry.

• Experience conducting and managing product quality panels.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and internal and external stakeholder management across all levels (senior and operational).

• Strong organisational skills, with proven data management and trend analysis skills.

• Experience across different food categories.

• Proficiency with taking responsibility for short term quality issues, and ability to create and deliver strategic changes for long term improvement.
