The range includes tools for carpentry, bricklaying, plastering & rendering, power tools, electric and petrol machinery.

The role:

Based in the London office 3 days per week and from home 2 days, you will report into the Sales Director and support a team of 3 external sales professionals.

This role would particularly suit someone already working in an internal sales position OR someone who is currently working out in the field but looking for less/no travel.

You must have a background in Merchant Services/DIY Trade in order to be considered.

Duties will include:

  • Supporting a team of external Business Development Managers by delivering pre agreed promotional activity and product launches to Independent and National Multiple Merchants
  • Establish annual and monthly Sales and GP forecasts for each Rep utilising provided software
  • Daily, weekly and monthly reporting
  • Set up sales automation and CRM systems
  • Attend monthly internal global sales call
  • Work with the Product Marketing team on new products, market validations and launch plans
  • Prepare and execute merchandising plans, working in partnership with the Business Development Managers
  • Confidently update forecasting and opportunities
  • Prepare for and attend monthly sales meetings
  • Analyse sales data such as sales team call rates
  • Generally oversee and manage the internal support team

The person:

In order to be considered for the role of Internal Sales Manager, you must possess the following;

  • A wealth of sales experience gained from within the UK merchant/DIY industry
  • A good network of contacts
  • A people orientated approach
  • Results driven
  • Effective active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Strong customer and colleague relationship building abilities
  • The ability to tailor communication styles to a wide range of diverse audiences
  • Able to identify, analyse and develop effective solutions to problems
  • Happy to work in a fast paced, dynamic organisation

The benefits:

The job holder will enjoy a basic salary of £45,000 p.a and a £5,000 annual bonus plus additional company benefits including hybrid working.
