We’re partnering with a renowned client specializing in bespoke packaging artwork, printing, and mock-ups for the advertising, design, and packaging industries.
This company has built a stellar reputation for producing exceptionally high-quality products through bespoke litho proofing techniques. Their cutting-edge studio features specialist areas for offset litho printing, silkscreen printing, hot and cold foiling, embossing, debossing, hand finishing, die cutting, varnishing, and specialist ink applications—all contributing to their truly unique end products.
The Role
In this position you’ll join the production team and play a key role in supporting the printing and finishing departments. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and develop your skills while working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. You'll be preparing tools, plates, and production details to support smooth workflows, while also gaining hands-on experience with traditional and specialized printing techniques.
You’ll work with client-supplied designs, ensuring they are ready for printing. Flexibility is essential, as the business operates between 7 am and 7 pm, with occasional requirements for early starts or late finishes to meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in reviewing and amending client-supplied artwork using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
- Learning to prepare artwork to ensure it is error-free and print-ready.
- Supporting the team in ordering embossing, debossing, foiling, and cutting dies, along with more complex tooling requirements.
- Preparing CTP plates and assisting with basic maintenance of the CTP machine and processor (full training provided).
- Gaining experience operating digital printers and cutting machinery (training provided).
- Collaborating with the finishing team to ensure smooth production processes.
The Person

- An understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and InDesign)
- Excellent attention to detail and a willingness to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to support other areas of the business when required.
- An interest in litho, silkscreen, and digital printing processes with any prior experience highly beneficial.

- Salary between £25,000 and £28,0000 based on experience.
