Senior Presentations Specialist

Highly prestigious fund management company based in central London are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Desktop Publishing /Senior Presentations Specialist to join the company on an initial 12 - 16 month contract. The role will be to start mid-November. This new Senior Presentations Specialist role will be working within the company’s marketing team, working on data rich presentations, therefore a strong understand of Excel is essential for this role. The position will be working full time Monday - Friday the hours of 9am - 5:30pm, this is a hybrid working role of 3 days in the London office, and 2 days working from home. The offices are located in central London close to several major London stations.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Producing presentations for face-to-face meetings, webinars and main stage presentations at large events, and creating graphics for presentations and the wider marketing team.
  • Responsible for creating and amending presentations/documents in a timely manner, ensuring all work is quality checked, taking responsibility for the consistency, deadline management, accuracy and quality of presentations / documents in accordance with corporate standards and SLAs.
  • Ensure presentations meet the standard visual and brand identity.
  • Understand performance/fund data from the internal systems and conduct data retrieval from external sources including FE, Style Research, and Morningstar.
  • Maintain data integrity of presentations.
  • Ensure supporting data is accurately sourced and recorded through liaising with Fund Managers and operations
  • Communicate with Sales and Fund Managers and other areas of the business to proactively manage the workflow for presentation requests from start to delivery ensuring all packs duly compliant.
  • Be responsible for the creation of functional, bespoke presentations / documents as well as ad hoc requests.
  • Conduct proof reading and data sense checking of presentations.
  • Actively review ways of visually enhancing content within a presentation
  • Produce infographics and charts for the content team for social media and blog usage.
  • Ensuring brand consistency and accuracy of data across all presentations and the company documents.

Experience

  • Strong and proven background in asset management presentation work with advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Strong data skills especially able to manipulate Excel
  • Possesses a critical eye in terms of accuracy with exceptional proofing skills
  • Proven graphic and creative skills with good experience of working in Desktop Publishing or Design
  • Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • Team player essential with good communication skills
  • No specific qualifications but IMC (Investment Management Certificate) useful Industry awareness
  • Financial services industry experience essential especially asset management Regulatory knowledge
  • An awareness of a level of knowledge of the regulatory environment this job requires
