Duties and Responsibilities of the Key Stage 2 Teacher:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons across Key stage 2
  • Follow the school's curriculum and lesson plans while providing regular feedback on students' progression
  • Make effective use of assessment and ensure coverage of the programmes of study.
  • Ensure effective teaching and the best use of available time.
  • Monitor and intervene to ensure excellent learning and discipline.
  • Provide pastoral support to ensure development of the whole pupil
  • Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to create a cohesive educational experience
  • Establish and maintain the standards of pupil behaviour required to create an orderly and productive environment.
