Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons to KS1 students, ensuring high standards of learning and achievement.
- Tailor teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, monitoring progress to ensure all children achieve good outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching strategies.
- Utilize the latest interactive whiteboards and technology in each classroom to enhance learning experiences.
- Work closely with skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to support pupil learning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching at the KS1 level, with a proven track record of achieving good student outcomes.
- Strong commitment to inclusive and progressive educational practices.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage supportively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A desire to take on additional responsibilities and develop professionally within a supportive school environment.
