At this wonderful Primary School in Waltham Forest, London, we're looking for a dedicated KS1 Teacher to join their team from April 2025. The role will initially be a contract until July 2025, with the potential to transition into a permanent contract in September 2025. We're searching for a teacher who can ignite curiosity and foster imagination in children aged 5-7. About the Role:* Position: KS1 Teacher* Location: Waltham Forest, London* Start Date: April 2025* Contract: Until July 2025, with the potential for a permanent role from September 2025* Salary: £130 - £260 per day (depending on experience)* Full-time Position* TLRs available for the right candidate* Onsite parking available* Must hold QTS
Key Responsibilities:* Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons across the full KS1 curriculum* Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels safe, valued, and motivated to learn* Assessing and tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them grow* Collaborating with KS1 colleagues to maintain consistent delivery of lessons and curriculum content* Encouraging students to develop a love for learning, fostering curiosity, and enhancing critical thinking skills
