Role and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and personal development of all students.
  • Collaborate with the job share partner to ensure continuity and consistency in teaching and learning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues to support student learning and well-being.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching KS2.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively and flexibly with a job share partner.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
