Position: Lower Key Stage 2 Teacher

Employment Type: Full Time (8.30am to 4pm)

About Us:

I am working with a popular primary school in the Borough of Merton. They place children at the heart of everything they do. They are looking for a strong Lower Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team for a January start.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Differentiate lessons for SEN children with EHCPs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback accordingly.
  • Contribute to the wider initiatives within the school.
  • Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development.

 

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: QTS or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience teaching a Key Stage 2 Class
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Desirable: At least 2 years’ experience in a UK based classroom
