Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-regarded primary school in Haringey, seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 6 class teacher to join their team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work three days per week (Wednesday to Friday), with a January 2024 start.

The RoleAs a Year 6 class teacher, you will take on the rewarding responsibility of leading a bright, well-behaved class through their final year of primary school. You will work closely with your partner teacher handing over on Wednesdays, ensuring that each child is ready for their transition to secondary education. Your lessons will inspire and challenge pupils to achieve their best in both academic and personal development. You will be required to plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to a wide range of abilities and learning styles, preparing students for their SATs exams.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

SalaryMain Pay Scale 2-6 (pro-rata for part-time). This position is term-time only, with full-time hours on the days worked.
