Empowering Learning is seeking a passionate and versatile PPA Teacher for an immediate start to work across two primary schools in Hackney. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a range of year groups, predominantly Years 1-6, with some Reception coverage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide PPA cover across multiple year groups, delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the school's curriculum.
  • Teach a range of subjects, ensuring continuity of learning and a positive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with class teachers to ensure all children make progress in their learning.
  • Adapt lessons to suit the diverse learning needs of students, ensuring inclusivity and engagement.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and manage behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Occasionally support Reception classes when required, ensuring a smooth transition between year groups.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching primary-aged children, ideally across multiple year groups.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Flexibility to work across two schools and adapt to the needs of different year groups.
  • Available for an immediate start.
