Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
- Assess and record students' progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love of learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events. - Manage classroom behaviour and maintain discipline in accordance with school policies.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with inclusive education and supporting students with special educational needs (SEN).
- Familiarity with the latest educational research and best practices.
- Creativity and innovation in lesson planning and delivery.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
