Are you passionate about supporting children in overcoming behavioural challenges to achieve their full potential? We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join our friendly and inclusive primary school team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with students who require additional behavioural support, helping them to develop self-regulation, social skills, and positive behaviour strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create and implement personalized behaviour plans.
  • Offer one-on-one or small group mentoring to students, guiding them through challenges and providing emotional and behavioural support.
  • Promote a positive, nurturing environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Monitor progress, prepare reports, and adjust interventions to ensure lasting positive outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Behaviour Mentor or similar role, ideally within a primary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development and behaviour management strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to making a real difference in children's lives.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
