Are you a Primary School Teacher looking for your next career move?Horizon Teachers are currently working with an Ofsted rated good Primary School in Barnet, looking to appoint a Teacher to help teach their creative and skilled Year 6 class, from September 2024 until the end of the academic year in July 2025. This School strive for ambitious pupils how can happily show confidence and resilience.It would be very beneficial if you have previous experience Teaching and supporting pupils within Key Stage 2, but this isn't essential, as this school is also considering ECT's for this position to start off your career teaching Primary School children.Requirements:
  • Proven ability to design and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans for diverse learners.
  • Excellent classroom management skills with a student-centred approach.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and experience with assessments and tracking student progress.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Dedication to continuous learning and professional development.
What will your key responsibilities be?
  • Plan and deliver creative lessons that meet the needs of each student.
  • Create an inclusive environment that supports positive behaviour and well-being.
  • Conduct assessments, monitor student progress, and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to identify and address students' needs.
  • Participate in parents' evenings and engage in regular communication with parents and families as necessary.
  • Engage in continuous professional development opportunities to enhance teaching knowledge and skills.
