Job Description:
A Catholic primary school in Balham is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Part-Time Class Teacher for a job share position. This role covers 3 days per week, Monday to Wednesday, with an immediate start.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching as part of a job share arrangement.
- Collaborate with the co-teacher to ensure consistency in lesson planning and pupil progress.
- Provide a nurturing and supportive environment that aligns with the school's Catholic ethos.
- Maintain effective communication with parents and carers.
- Take responsibility for assessment and reporting on student progress.
- Contribute to the wider school community, including attending meetings and professional development as required.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in primary education.
- Ability to work effectively within a job share arrangement.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of the school.
- Ability to start immediately and work 3 days per week.
