A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Wandsworth Town is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team in January 2024. This is a full-time position requiring commitment for the remainder of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and creative lessons to a Year 2 class, ensuring all students are challenged and supported to reach their full potential.
Plan and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum, tailoring teaching to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with special educational needs.
Work closely with support staff to provide a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
Liaise with parents and carers to maintain positive communication and support children's progress.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Previous experience teaching in a UK primary school is required, particularly within Key Stage 1.
A strong understanding of the Year 2 curriculum, with the ability to plan effective lessons and track pupil progress.
A commitment to providing high-quality education and the ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
Willingness to commit to the role for the remainder of the academic year (January to July 2024).
