A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join a 1-form entry primary school in Battersea starting in April 2025. This is a full-time role offering the chance to work in a supportive and collaborative environment with full class teaching responsibilities in a Reception class.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess and track individual pupil progress, providing tailored support where needed.
  • Develop and implement creative learning activities to engage and inspire young learners.
  • Work closely with parents and carers to ensure the children's development is supported at school and home.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure a holistic approach to education.


The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working in Early Years settings.
  • A deep understanding of the EYFS curriculum and a passion for early childhood education.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • MPS2-MPS4 pay scale - Experience within these pay scales will be taken into consideration.
