Job Title: Supply Teacher

Location: Central London - Kensington, Chelsea, Westminster etc

Start Date: ASAP/January 2025

We are currently looking for primary supply teachers who are specifically looking to teach in Central London. All supply bookings will be kept local to your location in Central London. You will cover teacher absences from single day bookings to longer blocks of cover within schools. You will have the benefit of controlling your work/life balance and choosing which days you'd like to work. It is also an excellent way to foster positive relations with schools in your area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching primary year groups from existing lesson plans
  • Marking the children's work of the class that you covered at the end of the school day
  • Foster a safe and stimulating learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic development. 
  • Confidence and resilience to walk into a new school and teach a class that you haven't previously met
  • Be a good ambassador for ASQ at the schools you supply teach

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and a genuine passion for the well-being and development of young learners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You have to be a great team player to be a supply teacher!
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators
  • ECTs (Early Career Teachers) are very welcome to apply. Supply teaching can be a great way of building your teaching experience
