The pupils are exceptional and eager to learn.This role offers the flexibility to cover classes 3 days a week, with the option to work either full-time or part-time. As a Supply Teacher, you will have the autonomy to choose your preferred working days and decide whether you would like to receive morning calls or be pre-booked in advance. This position is open to both qualified teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).As a Supply Teacher you will have good knowledge of the primary curriculum. You will need to cover classes delivering planned lessons set by the class teacher or sometimes your own lessons for unplanned sick cover.Some of your other duties will include* Managing behaviour in the classroom* Becoming familiar and acting on school policies and procedures* Marking all work at the end of each lesson* Leaving a handover for the class teacherWhat you will need to succeed** You will need to hold QTS and a PGCE** Experience working within a Primary classroom** Good behaviour management and organisational skills** You must hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a DBS through HaysWhat you will get in returnA dedicated consultant on hand.Supply work in your chosen year groupsTeaching assignments in your local area.A competitive pay rate.
