The Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be strong, committed, and passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young learners. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher who is eager to contribute to our school's success and become an integral part of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all students in KS1
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love of learning and supports the social and emotional well-being of all students
- Assess, record, and report on the progress and development of students, ensuring that each child is reaching their full potential
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to create a cohesive and supportive learning experience for students
- Implement and maintain effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching practices and outcomes
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in Key Stage 1
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community
- An inclusive approach to teaching and learning
