A large, diverse primary school in Sydenham are looking for an experienced primary school teacher to join their teaching team on a part-time basis to teach in year 6.

The role

In this role you will taking class teaching responsibilities for a year 6 class two days a week in a job share capacity. You will work closely with the partner year 6 teacher and the wider year 6 teaching team to share planning and work together on assessments and planning enrichment activities. You will have support from a dedicated team of teaching assistants as well as an experience SENCO and SEN support team as pupils attending the school come from a diverse range of backgrounds and a larger than average number of pupils will require support.

The school are looking for an experienced, qualified primary teacher. You should have good curriculum knowledge for upper KS2 and will be able to bring an energetic and enthusiastic approach to bring subjects to life. Good classroom management and differentiation skills are important.
