The Role: As a Year 1 Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of young learners during a crucial stage of their development. You will be responsible for providing a nurturing and stimulating environment that enables children to explore, learn, and grow, preparing them for their educational journey ahead in the school based within Lewisham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum.
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Promote a love for learning through creative and age-appropriate activities.
- Contribute to the wider school community and ethos.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience in teaching Reception or Key Stage 1.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for promoting children's development and well-being.
- Location accessible to Lewisham.
