Our school, rated 'Good' by Ofsted, is dedicated to providing exceptional educational experiences and support for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). With a supportive and collaborative environment, our staff are committed to nurturing and guiding our young learners.

The Role:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced SEND Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with a small class of 8 students, supported by a team of 4 adults. Your role will be to deliver tailored educational programs, ensuring each child receives the attention and support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEND.

- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences.

- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

- Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and other support staff.

- Monitor and report on student progress.

- Engage with parents and caregivers to support students' educational and social development.

Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

- Previous experience working in a primary SEND setting.

- Understanding of various SEND needs and appropriate intervention strategies.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEND.
