  • This school is dedicated to fostering a supportive and stimulating environment where students can explore their interests and develop a love for learning.
  • 4 pupils in the class have EHCPs.
  • 4 TAs in the classroom (1:1 and 1 doing phonics).

Your duties as a Year 1 Class Teacher

  • Managing behaviour in the classroom.
  • Planning stimulating lessons according to the UK curriculum.
  • Marking work and homework.
  • Working closely with parents and other teachers.
  • Working with high SEND needs.
  • Teaching phonics.
  • Becoming familiar and acting on school policies and procedures.

What you will need

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Hold the right to work in the UK
  • Evidence of good/outstanding school experience placements/observations
