A lovely, welcoming, two-form-entry, Church of England primary school in Wandsworth are looking for an experienced Primary Teacher to join their team in January. This could be a two term contract or a long-term temp to perm position.

The Role

In this role you will be a full-time class teacher in Year 1. You will join a strong cohort of highly experienced teachers and as a two-form entry school, will have support from the parallel teacher to plan collaboratively.  The curriculum is creative and varied and encourages individual learning and personal growth. The class are settling well in to keystage 1 but require a confident and experienced teacher to support them through the second two terms. There are pupils with SEND and EAL in the class, so experience of providing additional support and differentiation is essential.

The school are looking for a Primary Teacher who:

  • has good knowledge and experience teaching the KS1 curriculum
  • has excellent classroom management
  • has experience supporting pupils with SEND
  • is organised and hardworking;
  • is creative, flexible and committed

This lovely primary school is based in South West London, just a short walk from Earlsfield station. It has an excellent senior leadership team in place who promote an ethos of life-long learning, engagement and achievement. Pupils at the school are extremely well-behaved as a result of high expectations and a positive and safe environment. There is a friendly and welcoming staff team and you will receive a good level of support from the senior team.
