A lovely primary school in Bermondsey are seeking an experienced Year 1 Teacher to join their teaching staff to start as soon as possible for the rest of the academic year. 

The Role

In this role you will be a full-time class teacher in year 1. You will take responsibility for planning and assessment for a range of subjects and you must have a good knowledge of phonics and early maths. There is a school focus on providing challenges for mastery level pupils, and monitoring and evaluation for individual progress. You will have the benefit of working alongside an established teacher and will share planning and assessment responsibilities where possible. You will need to be able to quickly establish positive relationships with a range of pupils and be able to manage classrooms effectively. The class have settled well in to the new school year, but require a dedicated teacher to support them to make progress throughout the rest of the year. You should be passionate about supporting younger pupils in their early part of the education.
