We are looking for a qualified Primary School Teacher to cover a Year 2 class on maternity leave from 3rd February 2025 to 18th July 2025 in NW1, London.
The position offers an annual salary on Main Scale Points 3-6, and candidates must have prior experience teaching at the primary level, specifically with Year 2 students.
Applicants should possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrate a strong understanding of the current curriculum and teaching methods.
The interview process will take place on 8th January, where candidates will meet with the Head Teacher and Assistant Head Teacher and complete a 30-minute writing task for Year 2.
This role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as experience within the specified main scale points is necessary.

We are seeking a qualified Primary School Teacher for a Year 2 class to cover maternity leave from 3rd February 2025 until the end of the school year on 18th July 2025. The successful candidate will be required to start a few days earlier for a handover process.

Day-to-day of the role:

Prepare and deliver engaging and educational lessons tailored to Year 2 students.
Manage classroom activities and ensure a positive learning environment.
Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback to promote development and learning.
Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance teaching practices and learning experiences.
Participate in school events and activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
Experience teaching at the primary level, specifically with Year 2.
Strong understanding of the current curriculum and teaching methods.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage and inspire young learners.
Not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs); experience within the main scale points 3-6 is necessary.

Interview Process:

Interviews will be held on 8th January.
Candidates will meet with the Head Teacher and Assistant Head Teacher.
Prepare and deliver a 30-minute writing task for Year 2, which will be observed as part of the selection process.
