We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join an inclusive and dynamic Year 2 Class at a primary school in Dulwich. You will be teaching in an exceptional space which was developed to create a unique educational environment that celebrates inclusivity, encourages collaboration, and drives creativity in learning.

Primary Teacher Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages pupils to achieve their full potential.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with the school's policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to support pupil development and well-being.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.

Primary Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment strategies.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • A clear DBS check ideally on the Update Service
