Job Description:An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a friendly primary school located near Kings Cross Station, London. This full-time role is set to start immediately after the October half term and will continue until the end of the academic year in July. We are looking for a committed educator with recent, relevant experience teaching Year 2 students, who can create a positive, engaging learning environment that supports the development and progress of each child.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all students in the Year 2 class.
- Assess and track student progress, adapting teaching methods to cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and independence.
- Collaborate with other staff members and participate in school events, contributing positively to the school community.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Demonstrable experience teaching Year 2 students, with a proven track record of supporting academic and social development.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements for Year 2.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A positive, proactive approach to working with children and a commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive learning environment.
