Summary

A vibrant, friendly, multicultural community Primary School based in Clapham are seeking to appoint their next Primary Class Teacher for a year 4 class starting ASAP. It’s a full-time, long-term role leading into the next academic year and beyond!

The School

An Ofsted rated 'Good’ School with excellent management host fabulous facilities including a heated swimming pool, a landscaped playground and a roof terrace. They place a strong emphasis on enabling all children to develop as happy, confident and independent learners. Strong teaching staff including dedicated support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN), a trained team of nursery nurses and teaching assistants supporting children across the school.

The Role

YEAR 4 | CLASS OF 30 | 2X EHCPs | 2 LSAs

You will be teaching a Year 4 class of 30 with 2 x EHCPs and 2 LSAs. Although the role starts fully from April, you will have the opportunity for a handover in March following the class into the new curriculum year potentially finishing end Summer 26 with a view to continue.

About you

  • QTS and experience working as a Primary Teacher in UK schools.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and confidently manage a classroom as a Primary Teacher.
  • Strong passion for education and inspiring young minds as a Primary Teacher.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
  • Have excellent classroom management skills
