About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally:
- Have experience of working as a Class Teacher in a primary school
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Be enthusiastic, ambitious, and serious about improving children’s life chances through education
- Be highly organised, conscientious, and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload
- Be able to work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents, and pupils
- Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to use your initiative
- Be able to work flexibly and professionally
Job Responsibilities
As a Class Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons in line with the curriculum
- Assessing and monitoring pupils' progress, providing regular feedback to help guide their development
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes high standards and encourages students to achieve their best
- Developing and implementing effective classroom management strategies
- Working closely with colleagues to share resources and strategies to enhance pupil outcomes
- Supporting children with additional needs and providing differentiated teaching to ensure all pupils can succeed
- Communicating regularly with parents, carers, and colleagues to discuss student progress and address concerns
What the Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the primary school curriculum
- Experience in delivering high-quality lessons and engaging with children in a positive way
- The ability to foster strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- A commitment to personal and professional development
- An innovative approach to teaching and the ability to adapt to the needs of all pupils
- A passion for helping children succeed academically, socially, and emotionally
