Year 4 Teacher in Lambeth, South London
About the Role:
Career Teachers are seeking an experienced and qualified Year 4 Teacher for a fantastic primary school in Lambeth, South London! This outstanding school, rated "Good" by Ofsted, prides itself on fostering independence, confidence, and self-belief in its students. This full-time role is set to begin ASAP and is not suitable for ECTs.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Year 4 Teacher, you will:
- Teach all national curriculum subjects, including Maths, English, Science, and History.
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons tailored to Year 4 students.
- Create a safe and motivating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Implement behaviour expectations and manage classroom discipline effectively.
- Assess assignments and tests to track student performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with parents and school leaders to support student learning and well-being.
Qualifications and Experience:
We are looking for passionate Primary Teachers with:
- An Undergraduate Education Degree or equivalent with QTS.
- Previous in-school teaching experience.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- The right to work in the UK.
- Expertise in teaching methods and effective communication skills.
- The ability to inspire students of all abilities.
- Dedication to creating ideal learning conditions and safeguarding children.
- Proficiency in office software.
- Positive, outgoing, and compassionate traits.
Salary:
Earn between 135-240 per day as a primary supply teacher, depending on experience, or be paid to National Scale (MPS/UPS) for long-term or permanent placements.
