About the Role:
The school is seeking a dedicated Year 5 Teacher who is passionate about KS2 education. You will play a pivotal role in shaping students' academic and personal growth, working alongside a talented team to deliver high-quality lessons. Your responsibilities will include planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of your students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver creative and stimulating lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
- Support the development of each child's social and emotional skills
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and support where needed
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers about student progress
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience teaching in KS2, ideally with Year 5
- A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum
- The ability to inspire and motivate young learners
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A commitment to inclusive education and supporting children of all abilities
