This is an exciting opportunity for a Year 5 teacher to become a valued member of a friendly and supportive primary school located in the desirable location of Central/East London. This is a full-time, long-term position.The role

As a Year 5 teacher, you will be expected to be understanding, patient and observably passionate about teaching. You will be expected to foster a learning environment and educational experience to provide pupils with the opportunity to fulfil their individual potential.  You will also be responsible for using a variety of teaching delivery methods appropriate to the individual learning styles, and the varying demands of the curriculum while keeping pupils engaged.The ideal candidate

The school believes the quality of staff is crucial to pupils’ success and therefore you must have the following:

  • Have proven success in your teaching career to date
  • Be dedicated and passionate about teaching
  • Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Be an ECT or experienced teacher
  • Ideally have experience teaching KS2
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Strong and effective classroom management skills
  • Ensure pupil safety inside and outside of the classroom
