Sanza Teaching Agency is delighted to be working with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Haringey, searching for a dedicated and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their team in January 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator with a strong background in Year 6 teaching, particularly in preparing students for their SATs.

About the Role: As the new Year 6 Teacher, you'll play a pivotal role in helping students excel in their final year of primary school. You'll be responsible for delivering the Year 6 curriculum, running SATs booster groups, and supporting pupils in achieving their full potential. Your ability to inspire, motivate, and provide tailored support will be key to success in this role.

Main Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum.
  • Lead focused SATs booster sessions to raise achievement and ensure students are well-prepared.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, implementing strategies to support individual needs.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and senior leaders to ensure high standards across the school.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with previous experience teaching Year 6.
  • Proven ability to lead SATs booster sessions with successful outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of assessment, differentiation, and the Year 6 curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
