We are collaborating with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Redbridge, committed to providing high-quality education and fostering a nurturing atmosphere. The school is seeking an enthusiastic Year 6 Class Teacher to join their dedicated team full-time from September.
As a Year 6 Class Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum, preparing students for their transition to secondary education.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all pupils.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and high-quality approach to teaching and learning.
- Engage with parents and carers to support students' academic and personal growth.
- Participate in professional development and contribute to the wider school community.
The ideal candidate will have:
- UK-recognised teaching qualification with QTS.
- A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Experience working in upper Key Stage 2 settings, or lower KS3.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and positive attitude towards learning and teamwork.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
- The right to work in the UK.
