We are looking for a SEND Learning Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a child in KS1.Â
This school is looking for candidates who have a passion for working with children with SEND and SEMH.
The role
As a learning support assistant you will be part of a team of over working under the direction of the SENCO.Â
The ideal candidate
- Experience working with children in KS1
- Relevant teaching assistant qualifications (CACHE or SEND)
- Ability to form good working relationships with students, parents/carers and colleagues
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good organisational and time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Adaptability and flexibility in working practices and the ability to know when to use initiative
