Assistant SENCO | Ealing, UB6 | £95-£110 per day | Full-Time | Long-Term to Permanent Opportunity | January Start

The role is to provide high quality educational support to a number of students, whilst committing to safeguarding and the promotion of welfare of our pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To contribute as a member of the school's multi-professional team, establishing good working relationships.
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students across a range of subjects.
  • Assist in delivering tailored interventions to promote positive behaviour and engagement.
  • To support the class teacher to adapt learning materials to meet the needs of individual students, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education for all.
  • Build trusting relationships with students to encourage academic and emotional development.
  • Support students in overcoming barriers to learning and developing resilience.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour.

About You:

  • Experience working with students with behavioural challenges or in alternative provisions is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a calm and patient approach.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and fostering student growth.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and varied learning environment.
