Are you skilled in behaviour management and looking for a role supporting behaviour in children and young people?

Long Term Futures are currently hiring for a dedicated and personable Behaviour Mentor to start in an inclusive primary school in Balham, Wandsworth. You will be working with two named children one in Year 3 and other in Year 5 and providing in-class support alongside 1:1 behaviour management.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting two named children in a classroom environment. (Years 3 and 5)
  • Work closely with the Inclusion team to design and plan behaviour management strategies to support both of the children.
  • Look after and support positive interactions with peers during break & lunchtimes.
  • Act as a role model and carry out out-of-class activities that encourage engagement.

The successful candidates will:

  • Have a level 3 or above qualification (CACHE, NVQ, bachelor's degree, etc.)
  • Previous experience supporting behaviour management or working in a primary school.
  • Great understanding of behaviour management strategies and Special Educational Needs (ADHD)
  • A genuine interest in supporting primary school children in a learning environment.
