Male Behaviour Teaching Assistant

Secondary SEN School

We are looking for a committed Male Teaching Assistant TA who are willing to provide the best academic support to Secondary school pupils. This Teaching Assistant role will involve you supporting students all through secondary ages. As a Teaching Assistant we require someone who is enthusiastic and delivering the highest support to fantastic pupils.

Role: Male Teaching Assistant - Secondary

Location: Stratford

Contract: Full time

Start: ASAP

Rate: £110 - £120

Ideal Candidate:

  • Supervising and supporting pupils
  • Assisting in the development of appropriate resources, schemes of work and teaching strategies
  • Supporting with behaviour management
  • Undertaking structured and agreed learning activities/teaching programmes, adjusting activities to ensure achievement of learning goals
  • Assisting with the supervision of children out of lesson times, such as playtime and lunchtime duty
  • Establishing good relationships with children, acting as a role model
  • Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all children, supporting difference and ensuring that all have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working directly with young people in an education or training environment, supporting the learning of students.
  • Bring a patient and empathetic approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
  • DBS on the update service (Not Mandatory as we can do one for you)
