Horizon Teachers are currently seeking a dedicated individual with experience working with children of Nursery age, to work within an Ofsted outstanding rated Nursery in Wandsworth to support their children with SEND.

This is a full-time position with shifts from 8:45am - 3:30pm, term time only. This is an excellent opportunity for early years staff to work within a Nursery providing a stimulating, vibrant and inclusive environment where children and persue their own curiosities and explore in both indoor and outdoor sessions.

The role will involve working with early years children aged 2 - 5 helping to foster a supportive and nurturing environment as they take their first steps in education

Nursery Asisstant -
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEND within a Nursery / Primary School setting.
  • Previous experience working with a Nursery or Primary setting.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety practices

  • Have a positive and friendly demeanour which can be used to be provide positive experiences.
  • Able to provide behavioural management in-line with the school's policies and procedures.
  • A pro-active attitude to ensure students are getting the best experience available to them.
  • Communication skills and able to work well in a team.
  • Ability to complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
