1:1 with SEN child in Nursery

A lovely primary school in Wandsworth are looking for a dedicated learning support assistant to join them as soon as possible to support a pupil with SEN within the nursery.

The Role

In this role you will be working 1:1 with a child in the nursery, so prior experience within EYFS is essential. This child has difficulty regulating emotions and can display some challenging behaviours (spitting, biting, destroying nurture rooms) when dysregulated. You will need to be experienced in managing challenging behaviours and be confident in managing a consistent provision for the child which is rooted in the school's behaviour policy and the child's individualised emotional regulation plan. 

The role is mornings only from 8.30am to 12pm, Monday to Friday starting ASAP.
