Here at Academics we are currently working with this fantastic Primary school to recruit a teaching assistant to work to join the team on a part time basis. The role will be to work with a child with SEN in Lower Key Stage 2. The role would suit a graduate or level 3 teaching assistant with a strong academic background and excellent communication skills.

You will need to be able to adapt between working with children of different ages in Key Stage 2 and help the teaching staff to provide a safe, fun working environment where children can do their best work.

This role would be ideal for a graduate who is looking for part time work while completing their masters or an experienced teaching assistant. As a graduate you will need to be able to be demonstrate a keen interest in education and working with children. Previous experience working with children is essential this could be in a school, youth club, activity group or babysitting setting.

The successful candidate will have a genuine interest working with children, excellent communication skills both written and verbal and enjoy working as part of a team.
