Are you a learning support assistant looking to move in to pastoral support? A specialist secondary school for pupils with SEMH Needs are looking for an experienced learning support assistant to join their team on a full-time basis from March 2025.Ā 

The Role

In thisĀ role you will be supporting pupils in the class as well as working alongside the pastoral lead to provide broader support. You will support and lead small pastoral intervention groups and potentially provide 1 to 1 support. You will work closely with the pastoral lead and teaching teams, providing administration support

The school are looking for a learning support assistant who has the following:

  • Relevant experience in a school setting
  • A good understanding of how to support pupils with social and emotional needs
  • High-level communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and administration skills

The role is offered on a full-time basis to start in March.
